Peter Paul de Vries leaves investors' lobby

Peter Paul de Vries, the scourge of many a company chairman, is leaving the investors' lobby group VEB in October. De Vries became VEB director in 1995.
De Vries can count among his major successes his role in forcing Ahold to reach a settlement with shareholders after the US accounting scandal. De Vries told ANP he did not have a clue what he is going to do next.
