Prosecution warning on job cuts

Hans Brouwer, the most senior civil servant in the public prosecution department (OM), has warned the three political parties in talks on forming a new government not to slash jobs at his department. The Christian Democrats and Labour (PvdA) both backed cutting civil service staff in their election manifestos. Coalition formation talks restart today.
