Growth continues in temp agency market

The Dutch temporary employment market grew by 18% in December, temps agency association ABU said on Wednesday. The number of hours worked rose 15%.
Strongest growth was for temps in the medical sector, where turnover was up 41%. The increase in turnover of temp agencies supplying administrative staff was 12%. Over 2006 as a whole, temp agencies boosted turnover by an average of 19%, ABU said.
