Top film awards for Oorlogswinter

The film Oorlogswinter (War Winter) was the big winner at the annual presentation of the Rembrandt awards in Amsterdam on Monday evening.


The film, based on Jan Terlouw’s novel about a boy who finds and hides an English pilot during World War II, was voted best film by the public.
Martijn Lakemeier and Melody Klaver won best actor and actress for their roles in the film.
Veteran actress Willeke van Ammelrooy was presented with an honorary Rembrandt for her film output which includes the Oscar winner Antonia.
