salahabdeslamSalah Abdeslam, suspected of being involved in the attacks in Paris last Friday and currently on the run, was pulled over by Dutch police last February, according to the Telegraaf.

Abdeslam, his brother and another passenger were travelling in a car with Belgian licence plates when they were stopped during a regular check along the A27.

‘A small amount of soft drugs were found during a search of the car,’ a police spokesman told the Telegraaf. Abdeslam did not appear in the police sytsem and there was no warrant out for his arrest so there was no reason to detain him, the police said. He was fined €70 and sent on his way.
