Man dies in apparent road rage incident in Rotterdam

Cordon tape from policePolice in Rotterdam are investigating the death of a man in what appears to be a case of road rage, the Telegraaf reports.

Three people have been arrested following the death which took place in the Rozenburg district on Tuesday evening.

According to a police report, a man and a woman in one car got into a dispute with the driver of another car after a traffic incident. A fight broke out and a fourth person, who was passing by, also became involved.

The single driver was found unconscious on the street at around 23.00. Despite efforts to revive him, he was declared dead at the scene.

It is unclear if the driver of the other car had contacted the emergency services or what had led to the fight taking place.

According to the Telegraaf, the identity of the dead man has not yet been released and a post mortem will be carried out to determine how he died.
