House prices rose 2.7% in March, the twelfth consecutive monthly rise.
The latest figures from the central statistics agency CBS show house prices are back at their mid-2003 level, but still 18.3% down on their August 2008 peak.
The increase was seen in all provinces, the first time this has happened since 2008. Prices rose most in Noord-Holland and Utrecht provinces (4%). The biggest rise was in Amsterdam with 10% and Utrecht with 6.9%.
More houses also changed hands in March. In total, 13,393 properties were sold, an increase of 34% on March 2014, the CBS said.
