André Kuipers’ relief crew on its way to space station

The Russian rocket that will bring André Kuipers back to Earth was successfully launched on Tuesday morning, say press reports.

Two Russian and one American astronaut are on board the rocket, which was launched from the space base at Baikonur in Kazachstan. They will relieve Kuipers and his fellow astronauts on the international space station ISS.
Kuipers was launched into space for the journey to ISS on December 21 and originally due back on May 16. However, that launch was cancelled following the discovery of a leak.
He is now due back on July 1.
