Property fund Wereldhave to sell US portfolio
Wereldhave is to fully focus on investing in shopping centres and offices in western Europe and is selling its US operations, the Dutch property fund said in a statement on Tuesday.
The €1.1bn which it hopes to raise by divesting its US portfolio will be invested in new properties in Europe, the company said. The proportion of retail premises in its portfolio will be increased from 60% to 80%.
Wereldhave is active in the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and Britain.
