Police give chase as car races away from check point
Police used a helicopter to chase a car with French number plates which drove away from a routine police check on the A27 near Gorinchem on Sunday night.
The car was eventually stopped after an hour-long chase and the two occupants were arrested. At one point something was thrown out of the car. Police have recovered the object but have not yet said what it is, according to media reports.
