The Netherlands clinched a place in the European Cup finals on Tuesday night with a difficult 2-0 victory over Finland.

The win means Oranje is guaranteed to be at least one of the best group runners’ up and will therefore qualify for the next stage, according to local football pundits.
Coach Bert van Marwijk was not happy with the squad after the match. ‘This was not the most attractive match. We too often took the easy option, and that is not how it should be,’ he is quoted as saying by Nos television.
