Consumer confidence drops sharply

Consumer confidence dropped by nine points to -21 in August, the central statistics agency announced on Thursday.

The biggest fall was in the indicator of confidence in the economy. The present level dropped 22 points to -38 and for the coming year the fall was 28 points, says the CBS
