Ajax and AS Roma agree Stekelenburg transfer, PSV wants El Hamdaoui

Ajax and AS Roma have agreed terms for the transfer of keeper Maarten Stekelenburg to the Italian side.

Final details are still being worked out and Stekelenburg still has to undergo a medical, but the deal is as good as done, the Telegraaf said.
Stekelenburg, 28, has a contract with the Dutch league champions until summer 2012. Currently keeper in the Dutch national team, he made his debut for Ajax in 2002.

Eindhoven side PSV has also officially indicated its interest in Ajax striker Mounir El Hamdaoui, who has not been at ease in the Amsterdam side.
Ajax reportedly wants €4m for the Moroccan national. He was bought from Alkmaar side AZ in 2010 for €5m.
PSV’s technical director Marcel Brands told the Telegraaf he thinks Ajax does not want the striker to move to a competitor. ‘I think they would rather he went abroad,’ Brands said.
