Fewer traffic jams in the Netherlands

The number of traffic jams in the big cities has fallen, according to research based on millions of speed measurements by satnav company TomTom.


Rotterdam has seen a drop of 3.5% in jams so far this year and Amsterdam 1.7%.
Brussels remains Europe’s busiest city for traffic, followed by Warsaw and London. Amsterdam has dropped from 15th to 21st place and Rotterdam from 12th to 22nd.
