The Netherlands failed to reach the final of the Eurovision song contest for the seventh year in a row on Thursday night.

There had been high hopes for Never Alone by the 3Js but ‘Europe was not ready for the 3Js or the 3Js were not ready for Europe,’ one of the disappointed trio said after the voting.
Next year the Netherlands should said in gothic rock band Within Temptation instead, said Dutch commentator Jan Smit in the Telegraaf.
