Afghan police mission to go ahead

The government has been given the green light to continue preparations for a police training mission to Afghanistan.


MPs from the opposition left-wing greens GroenLinks and ChristenUnie have agreed to support new commitments from Nato about the nature and length of the training period.
The mission, to the northern province of Kunduz, is set to begin next year.
