The Persgroep and Finnish media company Sanoma have joined the Telegraaf Media Groep and John de Mol in expressing an interest in buying SBS Broadcasting, the Financial Times reports on Thursday.

In total, 18 companies have lined up to buy ProSiebenSat.1’s broadcasting operations, the FT said.
The Persgroep owns the Parool, Volkskrant, Trouw and the AD newspapers. Sanoma is active in the Netherlands with news website nu.nl and the Donald Duck comic.
