The 31-year-old man who escaped from Vught prison on Tuesday simply walked out with a group of visitors, the Telegraaf reports.

The man, who was serving time for a violent crime, was spotted later on security cameras mingling with visitors and leaving through the front door.
The discovery he had gone missing took several hours, the paper said.
