Rental housing prices go up

The cost of renting a home outside the rent-controlled sector rose to some €12.21 a
square metre in the third quarter of this year, up 0.5% on the previous quarter, according to nationwide rental agency Pararius.

But rents are still below that of a year ago, when the square-metre cost of an apartment flat or house with a rent of more than €630 a month reached €13.27, Pararius said.
