Snatched Australian boy, 6, safe and well in Amsterdam

An Australian boy snatched by his mother in Australia two years ago has been found safe and well in Amsterdam, the public prosecution department confirmed on Thursday.

The boy’s mother Melinda Margaret Thompson has been arrested on an Interpol warrant.
Andrew Thompson, who is now six, was taken by his mother during a custody hearing.
According to a press release on the findandrew.com website, the Amsterdam authorities were alerted by a woman who recognised the mother at a school in Amsterdam.
