Monday 13 September 2010

Dutch exports rose 13% in July, compared with the year-earlier period, the national statistics offi ce CBS said on Monday.

It is the first time that exports have been higher than they were at the start of the recession in 2008, the CBS said.

Imports were up almost 15%.

July was the fourth month in a row that imports outstripped exports, taking the trade surplus to €3.1bn.
