Economic growth reaches 2.2%Thursday 23 September 2010 The Dutch economy grew by 2.2% last quarter, compared with the year earlier period, the national statistics office CBS said on Thursday. This is 0.1 percentage point higher than the August calculation, the CBS said. Improvements in the temporary employment sector is the main motor behind the upward revision. © DutchNews.nl
Employment in the temporary sector should not be included in these figures since they are as stated "Temporary" and hence the increases are also temporary and not in reality something that a benchmark may be drawn against. We need permanent employment rises not temporary ones, the banks must get behind bussines and the government must act to secure business loans and even set asside some grant cash for new companies and expanding companies, we will never get out of recession unless small companies grow to export goods and services, I export services and use local labour to help me do so but I get no help at all. So according to EUROSTAT figures, we are the second economy into EU in terms of growth. Very bad news for our racist and xenophobic compatriots that try to draw blood our economy and prosperity by cutting the immigration. Since Denmark fall in that fateful temptation has fallen five places on the list of most competitive economies in only one year.
