Boy takes over driving as mum has epileptic attack
Monday 13 September 2010
A 10-year-old boy averted a serious crash by taking over the steering wheel when his mother had an epileptic fit while driving on Sunday evening, news agency ANP reports.
The incident happened on the A2 motorway near Vught.
The boy was able to get the steering wheel under control so no other cars were hit and drove the car to the emergency lane where it came to a stop against a street light.
Both the boy and his mother were slightly injured, ANP said.
