But now, after I moved to the Netherlands, I have been infected with the football bug, partly because the Dutch know how to party and support their team, and I have become a huge football - and Oranje - fan. Needless to say, I was ecstatic yesterday. Hup Holland Hup!!! By stingo | July 3, 2010 10:49 AM Netherlands are the best team of the moment. By Simplie | July 3, 2010 12:02 PM Watched the game dressed in nothing but ORANGE at a fan fest tent in the Cape Town Waterfront. With around 30 dutch fans and hundreds of Brazil supporters we had the last laugh and danced around with other dutch and afrikaans supporting the dutch! Afrikaans south africans have come out in orange all over the country and cape town has been nothing but orange when the dutch played Cameroon last week. It will be the same for the semi where the posters read - DIE KAAP IS WEER ORANJE!! By Juan | July 3, 2010 1:32 PM Well done Holland you deserve to win the cup after getting so close so many times and what a fantastic match it was and kudos to the dutch team for the message of anti racism before the match. By jason buttle | July 3, 2010 3:48 PM Thank you Germany! Bye Argentina! Regards from BRAZIL! By Happy Brazilian | July 3, 2010 4:37 PM It's sad to see that some Brazilians are such bad losers! [P.S. I'm Brazilian] And Holland's victory was so deserved as they didn't slow down like we did in the second half. That's the world cup. And if Brazil is the best team, as every brazilians have commented (aforementioned), why did it lose, then? I love Brazil's team and I'm always up for cheering it up at its matches, but we have to be realistic. Holland's victory was DESERVED. By Renan Kenplers | July 3, 2010 5:12 PM Don´t cry for me Argentina ... 4 x zeerooo By AD from Brazil and former happy expat in the ORANJE Country ! | July 3, 2010 6:43 PM I so hope ~nederlands vs gemany~ go nederlands!!!! you are loved By colleen | July 4, 2010 1:35 PM Holland played an exciting game against Brazil.
