Sanders will replace Jan Reker on April 1. Sanders spent 15 years in various functions at dairy cooperative Campina prior to its merger with Friesland Foods and has been an independent entrepreneur for the past 18 months.
‘I am being expected to create cohesion between the technical, financial and general strategy,’ he told the Telegraaf. ‘PSV is a top club, let us say the best club in the country.’
PSV is currently second in the premier league with 45 points, just two points behind FC Twente.
