Fewer incidents during New Year: report

A total 4,329 incidents were reported during this year's New Year festivities, according to the official report published on Friday.
The most common incident was vandalism (2,283 cases) followed by arson (1,107) and violence (589).
Last year there were some 5,400 recorded incidents. The number of cases of arson halved this year but there were more attacks on emergency service workers, the report said.
