Government subsidy for housing projects
Housing minister Eberhard van der Laan has set aside €164m for local councils to subsidise building 23,000 rental and owner-occupier homes.
The money can be used for projects which have been stopped or delayed because of the financial crisis. To qualify, building must start before July 1 next year.
