Heath minister to combat flu misinformation

Tuesday 10 November 2009

The health ministry is launching an online campaign to combat what it says is misinformation about the flu vaccine being offered to children, the elderly and healthcare workers in the Netherlands.

The campaign will include advertising banners on weblogs and internet forums where the vaccination programme has become the subject of hefty debate.

Yesterday
, the health service council formally recommended that children aged between six months and four should also become priority cases for the vaccine.

The Telegraaf reports on Tuesday that a two-year-old boy has become the latest victim of swine flu in the Netherlands. The child had other health problems, the paper said.

What a joke - the 'pandemic' is already waning - now the drug company shills who bought too much untested vaccine need to find suckers to stick with the leftovers.

Are the politics blind or what? What pandemic? Some people just make a big money on human scare. That's all big bulls...

I was just about to post waht Prince did.. they just need to unload their product and it's kind of a duh situation that if you make it seem like there's a shortage, people will want it more. They did this when they removed thimerosal from some vaccines for children. They said it's no longer being used but they didn't say they destroyed the leftovers either.... hmmmm

Indeed a joke! Being naive can kill sometimes. Invest a few minutes to read or do a little research on this flu. At least there are some honest people out there to tell you the truth that this so calles swine flu is a money making business.

Thanks Nance for posting the website about the pig bull or whatever flu they call it. Its indeed a cash cow for drug companies. Ab Osterhaus should know more than anybody else here. I believe he got € 1 million award for spreading lies. What a wonderful world.

The pandemic is far from over. The numbers of confirmed cases continue to rise worldwide. I've seen first hand what the H1N1 virus (swine or mexican flu) has done to children. Healthy, robust children, that now lay listless in a bed attached to a ventilator allowing them to breathe. It is early Novemeber and there is wide spread reports of flu world wide. Seasonal flu doesn't peak until January. So has the pandemic really waned? I guess if this vaccine is considered just another way for drug companies to make money off the people, then I suppose the polio and measles vaccines are too. Maybe we should stop making all vaccines. This would save billions..oh wait...then we'd spend trillions in increased medical care....
