Half of us want to escape from Christmas
Over 45% of the Dutch would like to go away over the Christmas period to escape the daily grind and social obligations, according to research by website Vakantie.nl published in the Telegraaf.
However, just 10% of households will go away during the holiday break. Austria is the most popular destination, the research shows.
