Former Rotterdam mayor goes to TilburgWednesday 04 November 2009 Former Rotterdam mayor Ivo Opstelten has been appointed acting mayor of Tilburg following the resignation of Ruud Vreeman in a row over a new theatre. Opstelten held mayoral positions all over the country between 1972 and 2008, including 10 years in charge of the port city.
