State debt exceeds EU limit
State debt rose around €10bn in the first half of this year to over €356bn according to the latest figures from the national statistics body CBS on Monday.
The latest figures means debt is 61.1% of the gross national product, putting the Netherlands above the 60% limit set by the European Union, said the CBS.
