Two tax haven-based trusts which look after money belonging to queen Beatrix’s sister Christina have been rerouted to operate via an asset management firm in Eindhoven, the Volkskrant reports on Thursday.

The trusts had operated via the queen’s private offices in the Hague, much to the anger of MPs who accuse the princess of dodging taxes.
Christina’s trusts, named daffodil and crocus, were set up to manage assets left by her parents and are based on the British tax haven of Guernsey. The princess lives in London.
The trusts are now being managed by Box Consultants, which hit the headlines earlier this year when it emerged it had advised some of the country’s richest families to invest money with US fraudster Bernie Madoff, the paper said.
