Nothing Personal wins 4 film awards

The English-language feature film Nothing Personal by the Dutch-Polish director Urszula Antoniak has taken the top prize in four categories of the prestigious Dutch Golden Calf film awards.
Antoniak won awards for best direction, best film, best camera work and best sound design at the 29th Holland Film Festival. Nothing Personal, her debut film, is about a young woman who travels through Ireland.
Awarding the prizes on Friday night, the jury praised the film for its 'artistic daring and perfect balance of emotion, tension and humour', reports Trouw.
The Film Festival's director Doreen Boonekamp was given the Golden Calf for Culture for her contribution to Dutch film. She is leaving the film festival to head the Dutch Film Fund.
The best actor award went to 16-year-old Martijn Lakemeier for his role in the World War II film Oorlogswinter. Lakemeier, who was discovered at theatre school, is the youngest ever winner of the award.
This year's film festival attracted 151,000 visitors.
