Gas prices down 33% since January
Households have been paying €25 a month less for their electricity and gas since July because of lower gas prices, says the national statistics office CBS on Thursday.
The fall in gas prices, and to a lesser extent electricity, means the average family’s monthly energy bill is now €139, says the CBS. Gas prices have fallen by around 33% since January.
