Soldiers can wear uniform for Gay Pride

Tuesday 28 July 2009

For the first time this year, the defence ministry is to allow soldiers to wear their uniforms if they want to take part in the annual Gay Pride parade, reports ANP news service on Tuesday.

The boat parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday through Amsterdam's canals and is expected to attract tens of thousands of spectators.
