Police issue 37 banning orders in Amsterdam
Monday 20 July 2009
Amsterdam issued 37 orders banning taxi drivers and clubbers from the capital's Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein last weekend.
In total, 20 taxi drivers were banned for breaking new rules for taxis, introduced following the death of a passenger after a fight with a driver on July 5.
The clubbers were banned for public order offences and being drunk, the Telegraaf reported.
The ban applies for an entire weekend.

Is this like the completely redundant ASBO in the UK - nothing more than a badge of Honour - your not partying hard enough if you don't get one of these over the weekend?
