Police issue 37 banning orders in Amsterdam

Amsterdam issued 37 orders banning taxi drivers and clubbers from the capital’s Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein last weekend.

In total, 20 taxi drivers were banned for breaking new rules for taxis, introduced following the death of a passenger after a fight with a driver on July 5.
The clubbers were banned for public order offences and being drunk, the Telegraaf reported.
The ban applies for an entire weekend.
