Go to church, minister tells Wilders

Thursday 25 June 2009

Social affairs minister Piet Hein Donner has become the latest prominent politician to launch a verbal attack on anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders, without mentioning Wilders by name.

In a speech on Wednesday night, Donner said he found it disturbing that 'Judo-Christian values' were being used to justify excluding others and the use of violence.

Those who wanted to protect those values 'should begin with going to church on Sunday where he will learn something else', Donner said.

Wilders has said repeatedly that the Netherlands Judo-Christian values are under threat from Islam.

Housing minister Eberhard van der Laan has also recently challenged Wilders to a face to face debate.

Of course Muslims would argue that it is Judo-Christian-Islamic values as we are all the People of The Book.

There is an element of truth in the advise given to the member of parliament in question (i.e. to attend the church regularly as an alleged practicing Christian). There are numerous real-life issues, which require private/public attention, and are good socio-religious scripts for multi-media-dramatic video documentaries, and moreover could be beneficial for believers, non-Christians/Catholics and atheists, such as :-

1. Noah’s Ark (building of life-boat, for 2 x 2 of all possible life cramped into a boat, to prepare for 40 days/nights of floods on earth, under the instruction of god).

2. Mary and the virgin birth. No comments.

3. Mary Magdalene (who practiced one of the oldest profession in the realms of red-light district), was she a wife or a mistress to Jesus ?

4. Mary (or Miriam ?) and Jesus (or Esa ?) from (Palestine or Israel ?) were early Arabs ?

5. Monks and Priests (some are known to have breached the biblical scriptures, Genesis: Chapters 18 and 19, or had affairs with female commoners and fathered children, or abused their authority/trust to corrupt the young innocent minds with sexual deviation issues), but continue to this day, to practice in the Catholic and Christian institutions.

6. Gender rights, concerning equal opportunities for women willing to practice in Catholic and Christian institutions as priests and higher positions.

7. Economical/Socio-Religious benefits to the public taxpayers for awarding the remuneration packages (i.e. salary, pension and expenses), to non-elected Government bureaucrats/officials, elected MPs and MEPs.
