EU elections: Dutch among most interested

Some 57% of the Dutch say they are interested or very interested in the forthcoming elections for the European parliament, the AD reports on Tuesday.
Of all 27 countries in the EU, only the people of Luxembourg, Ireland and Malta are more interested, a poll of 15,000 people shows.
According to a DutchNews.nl poll, 71% of its European readers plan to vote in the elections in June. More than half of non-Dutch readers who plan to vote will cast their ballot in the Netherlands.
