German savers flock to Dutch banks

Dutch banks are popular with German savers, according to information collected by media such as newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung and weekly Focus, reports news agency AFN.


German savers are attracted by high interest rates of around 5% at financial companies such as Credit Europe Bank, Amsterdam Trade Bank and NIBC Direct, reports AFN.
Interest rates at NIBC Direct are ‘almost unbeatable’, according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
