2008 is tenth warmest year on record
The global temperature rose again in 2008, says the KNMI weather bureau. At 0.31 degrees above the established average, this year is in tenth place in the list of warmest years in the past 150 years.
The warmest year was 1998 at 0.52 degrees above average.
