HP to cut 560 jobs in Holland

Computer group Hewlett Packard is to cut 560 jobs in the Netherlands over the next two years, reports the NRC.

The measure is part of a worldwide reorganisation process following its $14bn takeover of data processing group EDS, the paper says. The combined group has a workforce of 4,000 in Holland.
Those employed by EDS Nederland are most likely to lose their jobs.
Compulsory redundancies will be unavoidable, a spokesman told the paper. HP has already cut its Dutch workforce over the past few years by 350, the NRC says.
