The paper quotes local newspaper Stentor as saying that all the agency and part time workers at the Eindhoven factory may be made redundant. This would mean between 1,250 and 1,500 jobs.
The economic crisis has hit orders and DAF says these are the most obvious jobs to scrap. Some 750 jobs will also go at the Belgian operations, the paper says.
