Air France-KLM issues profit warning

Air France-KLM on Friday issued a profit warning, reports the Financieele Dagblad. The company says downward pressure on air travel from the credit crisis makes it unlikely the company will reach the forecast operational profit of €1bn in 2008.

The profit warning follows reports in Thursday's French newspaper Les Echos that Air France-KLM will shortly announce new measures to save costs.
