MPs shocked by PVV Sudan aid demand

The majority of MPs are ‘shocked and astounded’ that the anti-immigration PVV party wants to withdraw aid to Sudan because of its recent refusal to grant a visa to the Dutch defence minister, reports ANP news agency on Friday.
Defence minister Eimert van Middelkoop had planned to visit Dutch soldiers serving with the UN mission in Sudan earlier this month. Sudan has since made it clear that the minister is welcome and the trip has been re-scheduled for June.
MPs from various parties emphasised during last night’s emergency debate that they totally reject the PVV’s stance.
Christian Democrat MP Karien van Gennip pointed out that the Dutch contribution of €140m does not go to the government but to NGOs in the refugee camps, including those in Darfur. ‘You would let the people there rot,’ she said.

Well what do you expect?? The Netherlands giving millions of Euros in aid to Sudan from Dutch taxpayers pockets and Sudan refuses a visa to a Dutch defence minister? I wouldn't give them a pot to piss in that case! How dare they treat us so disrespectful after all the help they got for free! I think PVV had every right to say no more aid to Sudan!
