85 million contraband cigarettes seized
Customs officials seized 85 million contraband cigarettes last year, reports ANP.
Of the 26 million cigarettes heading for the Dutch market, 91% were fakes. If these had reached smokers, it would have cost the treasury €12.7m in lost taxes.
