Record year for Dutch film
Home-grown films accounted for a record 13.5% of the 22 million cinema visits made last year, says the Dutch cinema association.
The most popular Dutch film was Alles is Liefde, which pulled in over 1.2 million cinema goers and was the third biggest box-office draw. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix topped the list followed by Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
