January is gloomiest month

Almost 40% of the Dutch feel more depressed in January than in any other month, according to researchcarried out by Maurice de Hond on behalf of freesheet DAG.

The main reasons given for the gloom are a disappointing pay slip and lack of perspective for the future.

Only 1% of those questioned said they feel at their best in January.
