House prices to rise by 3% in 2008

House prices will continue to rise in 2008 but not at the same pace as in recent years, reports the Telegraaf on Thursday.

While house prices increased by between 10% and 15% annually in the 1990s, this year will see a rise of no more than 3%, says the paper, basing its figures on information from estate agents and mortgage lenders.

House prices went up by 4.3% in 2007, the Telegraaf says.
