First race on natural ice on Wednesday
Skating club Nijelamer in Friesland is organising this winter’s first race on natural ice, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, reports news agency ANP.
The ice is currently three cm but will be thick enough by Wednesday to stage a men’s short-track race, the organisers say.
