Ceremony for sledging tragedy family

A brief commemoration ceremony was held on Monday morning at the spot where a Dutch man and his three-year old daughter died in a sledging accident in Austria on Sunday, reports ANP news service.

The man died trying to rescue his daughter whose sleigh fell over a cliff near Salzburg. A boy on the same sledge was saved at the last moment by his father., ANP said.

Both families involved in the tragedy are due to fly home to the Netherlands later on Monday.
